Terms of use

The service
InOut-CheckIn provides an app and website for companies to record attendance, plan shifts, manage leave and work out pay. By requesting access, setting up a company or signing in, you agree to these terms.
Accounts
Company accounts are approved by us. The company owner is responsible for who they invite, the roles they give, and the information they record. Staff accounts are created by their company. Keep your password private, and use the app on your own phone.
Fair use
- Don't check in for someone else, fake your location, or try to get around the one-phone rule.
- Don't try to access another company's data or break the service.
- Only record information about staff that you're allowed to under the laws that apply to you.
- Only set people up as field staff when their work takes them away from the branch, and tell them why their location is shared while they're checked in.
Your company's data
Your company owns its data. We store and process it to provide the service, as described in our privacy policy. You are responsible for checking pay and attendance figures before you rely on them, for example before paying staff.
Availability
We work to keep InOut-CheckIn available and accurate, but we can't promise it will never be interrupted. Check-ins made while the service is unavailable may not be recorded; managers can add or correct them afterwards.
Ending your use
A company can stop using InOut-CheckIn at any time. We may suspend accounts that break these terms. When a company's account is closed, we delete its data.
Liability
The service is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, or for decisions made based on data in the service.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms and will update the date above when we do. Questions: support@inoutcheckin.com.
